Aurora Launches ClearVu™ CCT GU10 Lamp With Switchable Colour Temperatures 

Aurora Lighting has expanded its range of energy-efficient solutions with the launch of the ClearVu™ CCT GU10, a dimmable lamp designed to give users greater control over ambience and functionality in both residential and commercial settings. 

The new GU10, AU-DGU55CS, allows users to toggle between three colour temperatures, 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white) and 6500K (daylight), reducing the need for multiple lamp types across different applications. 

Despite its compact 5W design, the lamp delivers light outputs of up to 600 lumens and achieves around 120 lm/W in luminous efficacy, placing it among the more efficient options in its category. It also features a 60° beam angle, making it suitable for general and accent lighting. 

Durability has been a key focus, with the lamp built around an aluminium heatsink to improve heat dissipation and extend life. Aurora says the lamp is rated L70 B50 at 25,000 hours, meaning it will maintain 70% of its initial brightness well into its operating life. 

The product is fully dimmable and comes backed by a three-year warranty, reflecting the manufacturer’s confidence in performance. 

The lamp will appeal to installers, wholesalers and end-users who want flexibility without carrying multiple stock-keeping units. Its mix of adjustable colour temperature and long life makes it a candidate for use in homes, offices, hospitality spaces and retail settings. 

Speaking on the launch, Adam Wims said:
