About Galaed Group

The Galaed group was created in 2020, it includes 4 companies and has 150 employees. The companies of the group (Miidex Lighting, Electra, Hoplights and Europole) are specialists in the manufacture andsale of lamps and luminaires, through electrical distributors, predominantly for the French market.

The United Kingdom was a priority market for development for the Galaed Group, which is why Galaed became interested in Aurora Lighting, one of the leaders in the residential, commercial and industrial lighting markets in the UK. Aurora has always been, and will continue to be, an innovative and forward thinking company and is a popular choice for wholesalers, contractors and specifiers, supported by outstanding marketing communication.

Sébastien Bonneville is President of the Group, and along with the existing Aurora management team, will lead the transition to the new company. Galaed are delighted to have Aurora as part of their portfolio and are looking forward to developing the business through an exciting new phase.
