On 29 & 30 March Aurora will be participating in the first of a series of ELEX Shows, the UK’s dedicated trade show for electrical contractors.
The first ELEX Show attended by Aurora takes place at Alexandra Palace in London, where we look forward to revealing our latest LED residential and commercial lighting solutions and demonstrating our AOne™ Smart Lighting System.
You will be able to view the new RSeries™ downlights with the FastRFix™ connector as well as the new commercial colour and wattage switchable commercial products - the BatPacCS™ batten and PavoCWS™ downlight.
Following this event, we will also be attending the ELEX Show at Harrogate on 28 and 29 April and Newport on 17 and 18 May. Aurora will also be attending other ELEX events during the latter part of the year.
The RSeries™
Aurora’s new range of Fire Rated Downlights - RSeries™ - allows users to choose the most suitable and desired colour and wattage on installation. The IP65 downlights offer the choice of single colour, colour switchable and a wattage and colour switchable option. Colour switchable options are 3000K, 4000K and 5700K. Wattage and Colour Switchable options are 4W, 6W, 8W and 3000K, 4000K and 5700K, offering a total of 36 combinations, which is a great feature for both the contractor and wholesaler.
The recently launched NEW FastRFix™ connector allows for an even quicker installation of RSeries™ fire rated downlights! NEW Commercial Lighting
Our popular commercial range has recently been extended to include many new products plus upgrades to much of the existing range.
The new BatPacCS™ is a colour switchable LED batten that provides a direct replacement for single or twin fittings in size and output. Designed with push-fit terminals the installation is super easy and fast for the contractor. The colour temperature in this batten can be switched between 3000K (2500lm), 4000K (2600lm) and 6300K (2500lm) on site and upon installation, again offering added benefit for the contractor, but also meaning that the wholesale doesn’t have to hold stock of different colour temperatures.
Our PavoCWS™ is colour and wattage switchable plus has the option to be surface mounted or recessed with the use of an adjustable cutout. It is the ideal option for a range of commercial installations. Its wattage is switchable between 10W, 13W and 16W whilst offering colour switching options of 3000K, 4000K and 5700K.
The EdgeLite™ panel has been upgraded to produce 130lm/W for outstanding energy savings. The light guide board and diffuser have been engineered to ensure maximum light output and complete uniformity. It is suitable for installation in 15 and 24mm T-bar ceilings with a range of mount accessories. The new range also benefits from bing TP(a) rated plus UGR<19 achievable.
Producing 135lm/W, the Cosmos™ LED highbay comes at 1-10V dimmable making it a solution by altering the power consumption at any time (dimming the brightness) to help with energy savings. It comes with a 120° beam angle as standard but also with the option of 60° and 90° lens, offering both a narrow or wide beam. The range includes a microwave sensor option which also allows for added energy savings and control. With an IP65 and IK10 rating the Cosmos is perfect for use in warehouse environments. With a generous 5 year warranty and 50,000hr lifetime the wholesaler and contractor can have peace of mind that the installation of the Cosmos range will ensure low future maintenance costs.

What is the AOne™?
Aurora offers two smart lighting systems: AOne™ Zigbee and AOne™ Connect.Control (Bluetooth).
The AOne Zigbee range, launched in 2018, covers power, lighting and control. It has now expanded and offers 1000+ smart lighting solutions using our ‘Smart Inside’ and ‘Make Smart with’ AOne products. Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, the range of ‘smart inside’ devices includes downlights, GU10’s and LED strip controllers. However, by simply installing AOne dimmers, each room in a home can become smart instantly, controlled by a single hub via the AOne app.
More recently we launched our plug and play (PnP) Bluetooth smart lighting range - Connect.Control™. This range continues to expand and offers lamps, strip kits, an RGB downlight and a wireless battery dimmer switch.
Both of these ranges enable users to add schedules and automate their homes, ensuring lights are off at night or when not required. Sensors can also be added to enhance energy and cost savings further. So lighting is only utilised when necessary.
