Aurora Announce Isabel Hospice as Charity Partner

09 April 2024

Aurora is proud to announce Isabel Hospice as its charity partner for the year 2024. Based approximately a mile apart from each other in Welwyn Garden City, this is the perfect local partnership

Isabel Hospice, renowned for its dedication to providing exceptional end-of-life care, serves the people of eastern Hertfordshire. The Hospice has been providing free palliative care to its patients and their families since 1982. Providing support and care to people who are affected by life-limiting illnesses through Hospice at Home, In-Patient Unit, Community Team, Living Well with Isabel programme and a Family and Bereavement support service.

Aurora is committed to supporting this local charity in several different ways, ending 2023 taking part in the hospice’s annual charity Christmas jumper day. More recently Aurora was pleased to donate the lighting for the Hospice’s brand-new store opening in Bishops Stortford. Moving forward Aurora look forward to future donation drives here at their WGC office, plus any other initiatives we can support the hospice with.

Speaking on the partnership, Aurora Lighting's Product Marketing Manager, Rachel Balfour, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "We are honoured to partner with Isabel Hospice, an organisation that embodies compassion and dignity in end-of-life care. The Isabel Hospice provide invaluable support to our local community, and we’re pleased to be able to support this. We’re looking forward to developing this relationship further as the year progresses.”
