High Power Warehouse Lighting
Cosmos™ from LED lighting specialist Aurora Lighting is a high-power, 1-10V dimming LED highbay - ideal for use in warehouse environments.
With 100W, 150W and 200W options available, offering up to 27,000lm and 135lm/W, the Cosmos LED highbay delivers over 65% energy savings when compared to traditional technology.
Cosmos features a 120° beam angle as standard, with the option of a 60° lens, sold separately, so it can be used to deliver a narrow or wide beam highbay option.
As Cosmos is pre-wired with 1.5m of cable, this aids an easy installation for the contractor. Given the difficulty that can often be experienced in accessing the areas highbays are fitted, this is a strong benefit. The IP65 and IK10 rating demonstrate Cosmos’ ability to withstand challenging conditions, with robustness and durability guaranteed. Cosmos also has an ambient working temperature of between -40degC to +50degC, making it suitable for a wide range of storage environments including cold storage.
Offering a lifetime of 50,000 hours, this ensures longevity which is particularly appealing given Cosmos’ likelihood of being installed in hard-to-reach areas. Aurora Lighting’s 5-year warranty offers additional peace of mind.
Emergency and microwave sensor options are both available. The microwave sensor of 120° detection beam range up to 14m; perfect for low footfall warehouse aisles and areas to save money and energy.
A range of lens and mounting brackets are available to order separately, ensuring the contractor can source a complete solution from the Cosmos. Wholesalers will also benefit from added sales thanks to the add-ons specifically designed to accompany the highbay solution.
The Pro Range Cosmos also benefits from Aurora’s new 5-year warranty; 3 years of which are covered by a registered on-site warranty. This offers contractors and end users peace of mind that in the unlikely event that they need to make a claim, Aurora will replace, repair or rectify products which are deemed to be defective due to a material or manufacturing fault.
Darren Casey from Aurora Lighting said: “Cosmos offers a number of benefits, particularly for warehouse applications. And, with the ability to bolster Cosmos with an emergency or microwave sensor, and a narrow lens, the standard option can easily be tailored to meet more specific needs. The high IP and IK ratings, alongside an L70 of 50,000hrs and Aurora’s 5-year warranty, mean Cosmos can be fitted and left in-situ for many years to come.”
