Streamlined LED Panel Range

LED lighting specialist Aurora Lighting has refined its LED Panels range to offer a comprehensive family of back lit panels.

Back lit panels deliver a number of benefits, including the exclusion of a light guide. This can often be the component in other types of LED panels that yellow over time, which ultimately reduces the achievable quality of light.

For the installer, this provides confidence in specifying and fitting the panel, knowing there won’t be complaints in the future. Likewise, for the wholesaler, they can be assured there won’t be returns from products that have failed over time.

The new Aurora Lighting BackLite™ LED panels are TPa rated and utilise a flicker free driver. Consistent light colour quality is assured through SDCM <5. The PRO Panel is also protected to IP54.

The new range offers two versions; PRO and LITE. The PRO panel offers Unified Glare Rating (UGR) 19 and up to 140lm/W, making it suitable for offices and workspaces. The elimination of glare delivers better health, including lowering the risk of eyestrain, for those in the space for several hours at a time. This is particularly key when conducting screen-based work.

Aurora Lighting’s 5-year warranty offers added peace of mind for both the BackLite PRO and LITE variants, while the 50,000-hour lifetime ensures longevity.

A choice of sizes is available; 600x600mm, 1200x600mm, 1200x300mm. This gives an option to suit larger and more compact spaces, as well as different shapes and orientations.

For added control, 1-10V and Dali dimmable options are offered, with an emergency accessory solution available to purchase separately.

If an entry-level solution is more suitable, the LITE panel can deliver up to 100lm/W illumination partnered with Aurora Lighting’s excellent manufacturing capabilities. The LITE version is advisable for use in more general spaces, where dwell time is low.
