Aurora Unveils Second CPD Accredited Presentation Focused on LED Strip Innovation

Aurora Lighting has strengthened its commitment to industry education with the launch of its second CPD accredited presentation, this time shining a spotlight on the fast-evolving world of LED strip technology.

Designed for lighting professionals, specifiers, electricians, and wholesalers, the new CPD provides an in-depth look at the different types of LED strip solutions now available on the market. The session explores traditional SMD (Surface Mounted Diode) strip, the increasingly popular COB (Chip on Board) format, and the latest advancement – Opal COB, which delivers seamless, dot-free illumination ideal for premium applications.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of performance differences, light quality, installation considerations, and how to select the right strip type for various environments. The presentation also takes a comprehensive look at the expanding ecosystem of accessories, including profiles, diffusers, connectors, controllers, and drivers, helping professionals create tailored lighting effects for both residential and commercial projects.

From subtle architectural accents and kitchen under-cabinet lighting to large-scale hospitality and retail installations, the CPD demonstrates how LED strip solutions can unlock creative and functional lighting opportunities across a broad range of applications.

With demand for flexible, high-quality linear lighting continuing to grow, Aurora’s latest CPD offers valuable insight for those looking to specify and install with confidence.

This CPD arrives at the perfect time as Aurora launches the new ChromaFlex range, bringing even more versatility and innovation to their linear lighting offering.
