Aurora Launches ChromaFlex: A New Standard in LED Strip Lighting
Aurora has announced the launch of ChromaFlex, a next-generation LED strip lighting range engineered to simplify specification, maximise flexibility, and guarantee long-term reliability. Designed with electrical contractors front of mind, ChromaFlex promises to cut through the noise of an overcrowded market and deliver a streamlined, future-proofed solution.
The name ChromaFlex reflects the range’s core strengths, “Purity of Colour, Brilliance of Light.” With CRI90 as standard across every product, ChromaFlex delivers exceptional light quality for residential, retail, and commercial environments, ensuring accurate colour rendering and consistent visual performance.
Streamlined choice, complete solutions
One of the biggest challenges contractors face is navigating the vast, often confusing array of LED strip products available. Aurora has simplified this with a unified portfolio covering SMD, Opal COB, and COB kits, removing unnecessary complexity while ensuring every requirement is met.
Complementing the strips is a new, simplified driver range. Contractors need only decide between dimmable or non-dimmable, IP or non-IP, and the appropriate wattage, a system that removes confusion, speeds up ordering, and guarantees compatibility.
Flexibility built in
With universal 50mm or 100mm cut points, ChromaFlex ensures precise installations with reduced wastage. Options for IP and non-IP protection make the range suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Standard strips support continuous runs of up to 20 metres, while the XL range extends this to 60 metres, making it ideal for large-scale commercial projects and premium residential settings.
Lighting for every application
ChromaFlex is available in single colour, RGB, CX (tunable white), and RGBCX (full spectrum with tunable white), giving contractors the freedom to deliver anything from practical task lighting to dynamic, mood-enhancing schemes.
Aurora has also introduced quick-connector accessories for fast, tool-free installation, and ready-to-use kits for quick turnaround jobs, delivering professional results without the need for extensive assembly.
Reliability guaranteed
Built to meet the demands of today’s market, ChromaFlex offers a robust L80 B10 50,000-hour lifespan and comes backed with a 5-year warranty. Contractors and end-users alike can have complete confidence in both performance and durability.
“ChromaFlex was developed by listening closely to the needs of contractors,” said Adam Wims. “They told us they wanted simplicity, flexibility, and reliability, and that’s exactly what we’ve delivered. With ChromaFlex, everything you need is in one complete, accessible range.”
With its focus on ease of specification, exceptional light quality, and proven durability, Aurora’s ChromaFlex is set to redefine the standard in LED strip lighting solutions.
