Manufactured from a material that, when utilised in applications prone to dust or moisture, will ensure they remain robust and withstand tough conditions, linears are ideal for many environments.
NEW Colour Switchable BatPac™Pro
Our latest new linear addition, the BatPac™PROCS, is a colour switchable LED batten which is a direct replacement for single or twin fittings in size and output. The advantage of this linear is that there is a choice of colour temperature of 3000K, 4000K and 6300K which can be selected upon installation. They can also be surface mounted or suspended.
Our BatPac™ PRO, which provides over 40% energy savings compared to traditional fluorescent, has had its spec upgraded to now include an updated design with a push clip release mechanism at each end to easier installation. Flexible for each environment, this product can also be either surface mounted or suspended and is available with a microwave sensor option for additional control and energy savings.
We have also upgraded the warranty of our LinearPac™ range from 3 years to 5 years. The IP65 LinearPac LED anti-corrosive provides up to 50% energy savings compared to traditional fluorescents. A highly efficient solution for both interior and exterior applications, it is designed for car parks, service areas, warehouses or retail environments. NB. Any purchases before 01/01/2021 has a 3 Year Warranty.
Linears & Lux Levels in Schools, Carparks & Warehouses
When lighting Schools, specific levels of light are advised in accordance with British and European Standard 12464-1 (Lighting of Indoor Work Places). Here are some of the recommended lux levels applicable to schools:
- Corridors: 100 lux
- Foyers, entrance halls, canteens: 200 lux
- Libraries, sports halls, gymnasiums, lecture theatres, classrooms: 300 lux
- Science laboratories, kitchens: 500 lux
- Technical drawing room: 750 lux
Car park lighting is advised in accordance with British and European Standard EN 12464-1. Here are some of the recommended lux levels applicable to outdoor covered car parks:
- Ramps during the day: 300lux
- Ramps at night: 75lux
- Parking bays: 75lux
Warehouse Lighting Level Requirements (Lux) (CIBSE Lighting Guide LG1 - 2018):
- Storage areas where identification requires perception to detail - 150 Lux
- Continuously occupied storage areas where identification requires perception to detail - 300 Lux
- Loading bays - 150 Lux
- Unpacking, sorting - 300 Lux
- Large item storage - 100 Lux
- Small item rack storage - 300 Lux
- Issue Counters and Desks - 500 Lux
Make Linears Smart with AOne Zigbee
All of our linear ranges can be made smart and controlled simply by adding an AOn™e Hub and an Inline Dimmer or Rotary Dimmer. Once these are installed, homeowners can use our wireless Kinetic Switch, which can be fitted anywhere convenient for scene selection, a remote control for simple control, and voice or mobile phone control for convenience.
