The main reason for which this chain of 60 casinos were keen to switch to LED and the smart lighting solution that Aurora provides is sustainability. The goal was to improve operational efficiency, and by delivering a system which offers simple local control and automation, Aurora Projects exceeded expectations.
The Project
The impressive energy savings, carbon reductions, consistency, quality and uniformity of the light plan, convenience and simplicity of use make AOne™ ideal for installations which are open up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Bluetooth technology enables control from a single touchscreen device via the Aurora.BLE app, rather than many different control panels. This allows lighting to be controlled locally; for example, one facility manager in each branch can easily check and edit status, dimming levels, scenes and schedules. Scene control and scheduling also mean there is no longer a need for the many sensors which were previously installed in each location. Aurora Projects fitted AOne Bluetooth Kinetic Wall Controllers, LED Strip and 320W Dimmers to complete the installation.
To make this project a smart success, the criteria included the following:
