Aurora was asked to provide pricing on some RGBW strip for a refurb of The Wooville Arms, a lovely pub that is a family owned and run public bar and lounge with various function rooms. In business from 1974, Aurora provided an insight into the benefits of its AOne smart lighting system, and following an overview, they decided it was a good solution for them.
BEFORE
The Project
One morning, the owner of The Woodville Arms and contractor, EMC Electrical Services, visited Aurora’s mobile showroom during a breakfast morning at CEF Craigavon. Although only there to price the RGBW strip, following a detailed insight into the AOne smart lighting system, they decide to make the property smart and install the solution in the function areas to accommodate the venue for different events, including weddings and Christmas.
The products selected included the Aurora AOne Gooee hub and 45 smart inline controllers, which can fit between a non-dimmable constant voltage LED driver and LED strip, allowing 5-100% dimming control without the need for specialist DMX drivers.
They also ordered 45 Non dimmable 120W LED drivers and 225 meters of 24V RGB + Tuneable White CRI80 LED strip, which is ideal for use in applications where a range of colour temperatures and RGB is required.
By adding smart control to the new LED Strip, The Woodville Arms were able to preset different RGB colour scenes that can be controlled by a simple touch of a button on a smartphone or tablet. Multi user capabilities means that all members of staff can take control of the lighting settings. New RGB colour cycling allows the user to select this setting and the LED Strip will automatically cycling through the range of different colours in either fast or slow mode, perfect when trying to create a party scene.

RESULT
During the installation of the AOne Smart Lighting System and Aurora’s other lighting products, the contractor and the owner were extremely impressed with how easy it was to implement.
