New OrbitalCWS Colour & Wattage Switchable Bulkhead

OrbitalCWS™ is the new colour and wattage switchable bulkhead from LED lighting specialist Aurora Lighting.

The IP66 bulkhead can withstand even the most arduous conditions, making it suitable for a variety of outside applications. Its IK10 rating adds to its durability, offering additional peace of mind with regards to its high-quality. Furthermore, the OrbitalCWS has an ambient operating temperature of -20° to +45°.

The OrbitalCWS is another modular plug and play offering from Aurora, and can be simply converted to be an Emergency or Microwave Sensor fixture on site by the contractor. The microwave sensor provides a 108° detection beam with a range of up to 4m.

This technology also benefits the wholesaler as they’re able to offer a complete range without having to increase their stock levels.

With the ability to switch colour between 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, the OrbitalCWS can be set on-site to meet the needs of the project. This also allows for the OrbitalCWS to be installed in different areas offering a uniform look, and the colour temperature set for each specific zone.

The wattage is switchable between 10W, 14W and 20W, or 15W, 22W and 28W, depending on which version of the OrbitalCWS is specified. This offers further flexibility to best match the bulkhead to the individual needs of the project.

Together, these switchable elements, plus the modular plug and play solution, offer up to 54 combinations in just one product. The rear-entry access wiring compartment allows for easy installation, as does the separate 20mm conduit side entry.
