IP67 LED COB Strip - Continuous Light ideal for Damp Environments

09 August 2021

Do you have clients that want LED strip on display? Strip that can be visible and usable in damp environments such as bathrooms, kitchens or sheds? Around or under cabinets or on kitchen or bathroom shelving?

Our new IP67 LEDline™ COB (Chip On Board) single colour 24V super bright LED strip features a run of continuous light, eliminating LED hot spots and providing a different look compared to standard LED strip. It is ideal for damp environments due to its IP67 rating and for when a higher lumen output is required. Colour temperature ranges from 2700K - 4000K.

Create Stunning Interiors & put Strip on Display

This LED strip is very different to the usual type. It offers continuous light in the strip rather than the dots we have become used to seeing. This means it can add to the decorative style of interiors rather than be hidden.

It is ideal for use around reflective surfaces, such as marble floors, stairs and countertops, because it eliminates the dots seen with standard SMD LED strip light. It also enables installers to use diffused light in tight spaces where standard channel systems wouldn't achieve the same result.

It can actually be placed so that it is visible to everyone. For a kitchen it can be integrated into surfaces to aid with visibility when performing preparation tasks and cooking. It could also be added inside cabinets and onto shelving to highlight crockery or glassware.

Kitchen islands where LED strip lights are used along the plinth can create an almost floating effect as well as draw attention to the stylish flooring. Adding LED lighting to a kitchen plinth will open up a room and make it look bigger, so placing LED strip all around it, including the kitchen island, will illuminate what is normally a dark area, flooding the floor with light.

In bathrooms or ensuites, the strip really highlights the room when it is recessed into wall or floor tiles. It’s perfect for use in these areas too due to its IP67 rating. The strip can also be placed behind cabinets to provide the bright illumination required or around the bottom of shower units.

In cinema rooms, the strip is perfect for installing around seating and on stairs. It also looks great in any ceiling to create the dramatic and moody environment associated with watching movies. It could also be used to add brightness around a TV/ screen, behind drop ceiling boxes and other features

When it comes to outdoors, this strip can also be used to create great results in a shed or outdoor bar. Just place it along the ceiling or around a bar to create a stunning effect - it is bright enough to use without the need for any other type of lighting. In the evenings, the strip can be used to create various moods.
