THE PROJECT

LOCATION:
Isle of Man, UK

CLIENT:
Ramsey Park Hotel

A snapshot

Set in the historic town of Ramsey, this Isle of Man hotel is perfect for business or leisure stays on the Isle of Man.

The main function room within the hotel is used throughout the week and weekend for private functions. Therefore different lighting schemes were required. In order to enhance the room and use the accent lighting in various ways to accommodate different types of events, it was concluded that smart lighting control was the best option to achieve the hotel’s objectives.

The Project

Ramsey Park Hotel partnered with contractor, Gough Electrical, and both together decided that Aurora’s AOne Smart LED Strip was the ideal solution in order to meet their goals.

The AOne LED Strip enables RGB plus Colour Tunable control. Pairing the smart LED Strip to the AOne Kinetic Wall Controller, Ramsey Park Hotel is now able to scroll through a number of different scenes to suit the occasion. Although the hotel gathered a number of quotes from other smart lighting suppliers for other systems, the AOne Smart System was the most cost effective and offered the best solution.

All Aurora products were purchased through wholesaler Walsall Electrical.

AFTER
RESULT

Upon completion of the AOne installation, Ramsey Park Hotel was extremely pleased with the smart control that the AOne system offered. The Hotel was particularly impressed with how easy the system was to set up and use. All members of staff were trained on the transitioning between scenes, and the feedback was that ‘it couldn’t have been easier’.
