The venue recently expanded its premises, building a brand-new function room to accommodate its events. To ensure the appeal of the space and therefore its success, it was important to create a functional yet relaxed atmosphere with the right ambience. The lighting also needed to be customisable, so the needs of the space and the clientele could be catered for.
The Project
After a meeting with the Taphouse’s owner, a range of solutions from LED lighting and smart products specialist Aurora Lighting were selected. Aurora Lighting’s Bluetooth RGBCX LED strip has been installed, alongside a number of Bluetooth RGBCX GU10s. Thanks to the flexibility of these solutions, and ease of control through a simple Bluetooth connection, staff at the venue can easily control colour and brightness. This is done through a remote control or the Aone BLE app.
The LED strip and GU10 luminaires both offer control over colour temperature between 2700 – 5000K. This delivers a huge range of what the light can be used for, from daytime events that require more light, to evening gatherings where warm, inviting light is preferable. The solutions are sold with a 3-year warranty and a L70 of 25,000 hours, ensuring they can remain in place for many years while providing peace of mind.
