The AOne™ Lighting platform is going live to a Smart Home audience. Due to the popularity of the AOne system a new website is being launched that will explain to homeowners what AOne is, how it can be installed and how they can locate their nearest trained Smart Installer.
Homeowners will be able to understand the key benefits, view all the devices (lamps, sockets and sensors), see examples of what the different lighting will look like in their home, and use the search feature to find AOne trained electricians who can help with purchasing and installing the products.
To coincide with the launch of the AOne Smart Home Website, we are also launching an AOne Smart Home Brochure focusing on the key user benefits of the AOne Smart Lighting Platform for the home. On 18 of March we will be mailing this brochure to 200 Aurora Smart knowledge centres, 37,000 electrical contractors and all of the newly trained Aurora Smart Installers.
Aurora’s Senior Smart Home Product Manager, Thomas Lane, will be talking on the Smart Home Panel - 'Where to start when going smart: A beginners guide' on Tuesday 26 March at 2.30pm. The challenge for most potential consumers isn’t a lack of options, but to understand how to narrow down the choices and pick the best system. This panel session will explore the essentials to begin a smart home journey.
What is AOne?
Aurora’s AOne is a Smart Lighting solution that balances both simplicity and high efficiency - with innovative smart lighting, control and power products designed with the contractor in mind. Covering Light, Power, Sensing and Control for any application: Home, Retail, Hospitality and Commercial. The AOne system consists of an App, hub and a comprehensive range of easy to install Smart Inside devices that enable the user to control their lighting the way they want to from anywhere, on or off premise all via the AOne App.
Only a year after the release of the AOne™ Smart System, the Aurora Lighting Group has dramatically increased it’s smart lighting portfolio. There are 30 brand new ‘Smart Inside’ products, with built in smart capability. Alongside this there are over 900 standard luminaires in Enlite’s New Trade Edition Two catalogue that can be made Smart with AOne circuit control devices.
The new ‘Smart Inside’ products have an integrated Zigbee protocol to form a mesh network with the Gooee Smart Space Hub. It allows for complete control over one or multiple smart points in a space, e.g. Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom or Outdoor. On top of that each luminaire provides significant energy savings, is low maintenance, affordable, easy to install and is interoperable with Samsung SmartThings and Amazon Alexa.
Smart integration for both new builds and retrofit installations are made far easier with the AOne system as the devices have been designed to replace standard luminaires and wall controllers. Configure and save scenes with customised settings for dimming, automation and colour control for individual lights within a group, or as a whole.
The AOne App has been designed with great care to provide a simple interface for the best user experience. You can download the app for both Android and iOS devices directly from Google Play or the Apple store for free and create an account. Once you’ve activated your account you can log in, connect to the hub, pair your devices and start creating your personalised lighting schemes.
