BOTTICELLI was founded by Mr. Herminio Cruzado Martínez, from Elda. The first store opened its doors in 1990, Alicante, where its headquarters are currently located. More stores followed and as the second generation of the family began to get involved BOTTICELLI expanded internationally.
LE PROJET
Collaborating with the company MILIMETRIC, a specialist in retail designs, Aurora focussed on lighting that enhances merchandise as well as the uniquely designed store ceiling. It was important that the luminaries did not appear to ‘break’ the roof structure. Utilising the most appropriate light tone and quality was essential to enhance the appearance of the shoes.
Aurora chose to use the Eddi range.
The Eddi TS variant was used for the roof area focusing on the shelves. The height of the track was carefully calculated so that only part of the luminaire would protrude from the ceiling and allow it to be focussed, thus ensuring that the spotlight itself could not be seen between the timbers.
In the central area of the store there is a white roof so a white section of track was installed and Eddi T1 spotlights used.
To ensure the colour of the shoes was correctly rendered, all lighting used was 3500K and CRI90. To further illuminate the shelves, matching 3500K LED strip was installed.

This project demonstrates the benefits and beauty that can be achieved through the combination of quality lighting and architectural design. A spectacular store, it looks stunning from the outside and inside this store demonstrated style and elegance, fully achieving the design aim.
